Regional Critique Group Coordinators

The Education Council Workshop Committee in 2007 will be primarily targeting the launch of the Regional Critique Groups and bringing specifically requested educational activities to the local areas. The 3 tri-county coordinators called the new members in the area and existing members were invited via the WSO email group to attend a critique group meeting. The coordinators will be calling the rest of the members in the area to invite them to participate in a new critique group or learn more about their existing critique group, and if they are interested in local educational activities. Member/instructors will be asked if they are willing to teach local workshops. The committee will develop and maintain a database of interested instructors (how far willing to travel, subject specialties, pricing, etc.) for the coordinator's use in scheduling requests. As soon as we identify coordinators in the remaining areas we can plan similar groups and activities.

Being a coordinator will be a great way to get to know other artists in your area and be instrumental in bringing together different critique groups for educational activities. Please call (503 292-8586) or email to volunteer or check it out with one of the coordinators below.
